Zodiac Leotards is owned and operated by gym mum Karen Jackson who is based in Kent, England.

The seeds of the business were sewn when Karen's daughter competed in dance festivals and competitions. As the clothing was generally expensive, Karen decided to start making dancewear for her daughter, then for her friends, then for her dance school, until it became a small business making classical ballet tutus and other costumes, including solo and group costumes for the Dance World Cup. As her daughter moved more towards gymnastics and then into acro, she started making leotards for training and competition. They were of a fantastic quality, which led to interest from other gymnasts and their parents.

Zodiac Leotards was originally an eBay-only business, whose aim was to be a source of high quality UK made gymnastics wear at the best possible prices, in a market which is increasingly filled with marked-up Chinese-made imports. As time went on we started making squad leotards for clubs and schools, bespoke acro leotards, and attending competitions and other events - we love to get out and meet people! Our range of boys leotards has been a particular strength. We are very excited about our new website as the natural next stage for our business.
